Had a great time at Barrio Bx ..:Samantha the bartender was awesome - very attentive, friendly and our food was amazing. We had their pina coladas and damn, they know how to make them! We’ll definitely be back!!

From the old location on Tremont Ave. to the location at the old Havana in Castle Hill, Barrio is still the place to go for great Puerto Rican food, drinks, music, entertainment, staff, service, etc. It gives you that good restaurant lounge with great music vibes that celebrates Puerto Rican culture & tradition, etc. It's still 1⃣ of the best spots in the Bronx, NYC & I highly recommend & will continue to come here. Great Experience from walking in to Leaving, Love the Atmosphere the Minute you walk in when we were greeted and Welcomed. The murials on the wall add to the Hispanic cultural Experience and the Food was excellently prepared and very good portions as well as being extremely delicious. The Live DJ played tunes from my favorite era of 80's & 90's. Parking was a little difficult because it's on a busy stretch of Castle Hill Avenue. This place is definitely worth the visit if you're in the area or just visiting definitely stop by you won't be disappointed. ENJOY....

Yo this place is bangin. Lunch at 1pm is like club dinner at 1am loud music, half the people dancing in their seats good food and great service from the staff. A great place to stop if you're just passing through and want to get some Puerto Rico flavor on your trip.

This was my first time here and I loved the ambiance and the vibes of the place. The DJ played music from my youth and contemporary music. The service was good and my waitress was very attentive to our needs. The food was fantastic. Normally when the food is good others serve small portions but that was not the case here. The food was tasty and good. Loved tit and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Barrio BX

This place was is a nice spot on castle hill right off Westchester Ave. The bacalaitos were amazing. Chicken soup was good. There is a bar and love dj. The music was pumping like it was a club. Might be loud for some, but it played nicely into the theme of the place. Patrons getting up dance. Very nice time while I was waiting for take out. I'll be back!!

SIMPLY AMAZING! Everything was delicious and the service was on point. We’re from Kong Island, but will definitely visit again! Those pernil alcapurrias and bacalaitos were A+! Also tried the vegan sausage that were great.

Went here for a proposal and everything was on point. The food was A1, especially the shrimp mofongo, flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was great for a special moment. Definitely a solid spot for good food and memorable occasions.
